Four Decades in One Community

Centrepoint Chiropractic Clinic was established in 1965, and Dr David Chapman (Chiropractor) took over as principal in 1982. Very few clinics anywhere in Queensland can offer that continuity — many patients who first visited as children now bring their own children and grandchildren to the same practitioner.

Approach to Care

Every new patient begins with a thorough assessment — history, examination and, where indicated, referral for imaging or medical review — before any care is discussed. Dr David Chapman (Chiropractor) practises five techniques: Diversified Spinal Adjusting, the Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), the Activator Method, Trigenics and Extremity Adjusting. The approach is matched to each patient's presentation, age and preference, with notably gentle, low-force options available for children, pregnant women and older patients. Education and Teaching

Dr David Chapman (Chiropractor) graduated from the Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1980. Following graduation, he taught adjusting techniques to chiropractic students during the period the Sydney College of Chiropractic was affiliated with the University of New South Wales — experience in teaching the hands-on skills of the profession that has informed his own practice ever since.

Ongoing Professional Development

Dr David Chapman (Chiropractor) consistently attends professional development seminars, maintaining and updating his clinical skills across more than four decades in practice. He is a member of Chiropractic Australia and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA registration CHI0001610092).

Veterans and Medicare Patients

The clinic is an approved DVA provider — Gold and White Card holders are welcome, billed directly to DVA with no gap fees for eligible veterans. GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) referrals are accepted with no gap fee above the Medicare rebate.
